My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and we had an absolutely lovely time. The owners were lovely, made sure we settled in okay and were very helpful. We ate there on the Sunday and chose the carvery; a bit expensive compared to some but very, very tasty. We will definitely stay again! (from LateRooms.com)

Recently taken over by new management who are very friendly along with the staff, good atmosphere, excellent location for visiting this part of the country, good size bar and restaurant.

Message: Hi, We ate in the Tayleur on Saturday night from the Valentines menu.
The food was fantastic, the decorations were lovely and the staff were very attentive. All in all we can't fault it. Keep up the good work everybody, you're doing a great job! See you again soon.

Message: What a lovely time we have had at the Tayleur today, the meals and service were brilliant. It's been such a long time since we visited and we were very impressed with the surroundings.

Good location, clean room, nice pub. This was my second stay at the Tayleurs Arms - the accommodation was very clean, some wall furniture was hanging off i.e in one room the radiator was loose and the toilet roll holder was hanginging on one screw (walls appear to be plasterboard), but this should not detract from a good standard of clean/fresh accommodation (beds were a
little soft, but that could be personal prefference. Landlord, wife and all staff were very friendly and breakfast was excellent albeit a little expensive at £7.95 - that said the accommodation was very much reduced in price. I had an evening meal, which was also good, if small for what I paid - I would not hesitate to recommend and use this accommodation again.
